I contacted Marie and told her of my plan and asked if she could ship my order just in time for the birthday - and indeed she did just that... It arrived, with full instructions - EXACTLY on the day promised. I surprised my friend with it to the point where her husband took responsibility for keeping it secret and preparing everything the day of her birthday as a surprise. And she and I Facetimed as she enjoyed and raved over the contents of the box.

The box itself was BEAUTIFUL... and she explained how it was beautifully packed. After our tea together, she sent me the following statement to forward to Marie:

"The British Cream Tea gift box by Marie was beautifully presented. The lemon blueberry scones were fresh and delicious. The clotted cream and famous British strawberry jams were wonderful. A truly wonderful and very special birthday gift" She also added in another text that "Marie is a class act".

Marie is, indeed, wonderful... her customer service cannot be beat - and you can see by my friend's comment that she provides the most wonderful products.

Tea with Marie scones are out of this world! They are my go-to gift package for friends and family all around the U.S. The gift boxes make a very special presentation and if there are any scones left (not likely!) they freeze beautifully. You are missing out if you live in North Florida and don't have Marie cater an afternoon tea. Her finger sandwiches and desserts are absolutely delicious and she is such fun!
